Brown synthetic midsole and half shell toe, with yellow outersole.
The half-shell toe is derived from the shell toe of the Superstar.
Legend has is that US pro basketball players used to cut the top part of the shell toe off to aid flexibility and that adidas responded by producing the half-shell to cater for that market.
