These are Men's I Love Rio de Janeiro - Adidas "City Pack" Rio de Janeiro Gazelle Shoes - Kingston/Reggae. The new project from Adidas is here and entitled the "City Pack". This new series uses the model Gazelle for eight different cities: Barcelona, Milan, Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro, Tokyo, London, Paris, and Moscow. The last two pairs of the Series feature the cities New York and Kingston on an Adidas Halfshell. Each shoe has the city on the back side. The color combinations are kept pretty simple but hot on the Gazelles whereas the New York and Kingston model feature some really cool artwork on the shoe. Most of the shoes have matching gear like tracktop jackets, tees, and caps. Black leather uppers, trademark adidas three stripes in green.
Commonly known as just Rio, the city is also nicknamed A Cidade Maravilhosa �"The Marvelous City." One of the most famous local landmarks in addition to the beaches include the giant statue of Jesus, known as Christ the Redeemer ('Cristo Redentor') atop Corcovado mountain, which has recently been named one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.
